A Day of Joy and Empowerment: The Rescued Generation's Picnic Adventure

On this day, The Rescued Generation embarked on a joyous adventure to Agodi Gardens, Ibadan. The picnic was more than just a fun outing; it was a celebration of youth, empowerment, and the power of positive change.

As we believe in nurturing the potential of every child, we organized this event to provide a safe and fun environment for our young ones. The day was filled with laughter, games, and delicious food. Children engaged in various activities, from friendly competitions to creative arts and crafts.

Beyond the fun and games, the picnic aimed to instill values of kindness, empathy, and respect. We emphasized the importance of treating others with compassion and understanding. By fostering positive relationships, we hope to create a generation of compassionate and responsible individuals.

The Rescued Generation remains committed to empowering young people and creating a brighter future for all.

School Outreach

We visited Gracefield Private School, Akobo, Ibadan, today to discuss Bullying with the pupils and teachers.

Bullying is one of the significant problems young people face in school, neighbourhood, places of worship etc., which adversely affects them emotionally, socially and psychologically.

The pupils were urged to stop bullying each other while the teachers were addressed on how to stop the pupils from bullying or being bullied.

Street Kids Day

Children living on the streets are more exposed to all forms of abuse and do not have access to essential support all children are entitled to, viz; Nutritional support, psycho-social support, education, shelter, protection and access to health care.

The number of children living on the streets is becoming alarming, and more worrisome is their initiation into criminal activities and prostitution by men & women of the underworld. We must come together at this period to help save the future of these children by supporting them or their families so that they can be off the streets and monitor them closely to ensure they become responsible citizens of our country.

We implore the government to look critically at the issues affecting these children and ensure adequate measures are taken to address the root cause of the problems.

We believe the life of every child matters, and their development is for the glory of our Nation! ...

Every child matters
